Who am I?

My name is Joe Sotelo. I was born in 1964 in San Jose California. My family moved to Southern California soon afterwards and I remained in the area until I moved to Rochester, NY in 1999 to further my career at Xerox.

The primary purpose of this site is to help my friends and family keep up with my life. Coming from a large Mexican family it was hard to just pack up and go. Instead of being within driving distance, now I'm a phone call away.

The other reason I have this site is to help showcase some of my art.
Having been interested in photography for most of my life, I have accumulated quite a collection. Ever since I got a digital camera two years ago, that collection has only become larger. Going digital has also given me a greater range than before, giving old images a new lease.

So, feel free to wander around my mind. One of the things that I do is write in a freeform style; no forethought, very little editing. You get to hear the voices in my head, but be aware, sometimes they say things that you may not want to hear.
